Scotland and Lyla

I am back from a gorgeous week spent in and around Edinburgh.  A proper post with photos and such will soon follow, but I just wanted to say now, while I still remember, how happy and relaxed I am.  It was so good to have a chill vacation, eat amazing food, and relax.  Even better was to spend time with Lyla, whom I miss so much every day.  This school year has been rather stressful thus far for reasons I am not going to elaborate online.  Fall break came at the perfect time and I must say I feel so much better for it.  I am so happy that Lyla and I have managed to stay in touch and continue to see each other every three months or so, because she is like family, and so important to me.  Plus we always have ridiculous fun together!
